Day 1

I MADE IT!!!

OMGGGG.. so I officially made it through my first day here at Fitness Ridge. So this is how the day went. I got up at 5:15.. ughhhhhh I didn't know that time even existed.. and it sucked! but i also went to bed at 9:00 so that helped. Got up and went to this quick 20 min class on how to do use all the machines. Then I worked out from about 6:30 to 7:00, did a quick stretch, and ate breakfast at 7:00. It was a bowl of fruit which was awesome! Then we had scrambled eggs with like a teaspoon of cheese... i normally take a cup of cheese on my eggs.. and they tell me it was SOY cheese... hmmm.. but it tasted like cheese. It came with an English muffin and a piece of bacon.. But it was like turkey bacon. anyway, it was pretty good! I could of used some more cheese but overall, i give it a 8 out of 10!! So we left for our hike at 8:00. They call it the stop sign hike and warn everyone, it's terrible. It's 4.3 miles and the last 1.25 miles is pure incline and pure hell!!!!! Some people that are really overweight can't even complete the entire hike. So I'm really nervous about me making it! So as we're on our way, I'm telling myself, you can do it! you can do it! but deep down, thinking, there's no way in hell i can do this!! And what do ya know!!! I MADE IT!!!!!!! I actually made it in 1 hour and 20 minutes! i was soo excited!!! I literally almost cried!!! you know i've been emotional lately! so they took my picture by the big stop sign!! so after that, I walked back down the girl with my NC girls. And came back and had water aerobics!! it was really really fun! AND, of course, i got sunburnt on my forehead. Not sure if it was from the hike or water aerobics but oh well. lunch was some really strange soup with big chunks of brussel sprouts. SO i just ate around the nasty brussel sprouts. After lunch we had a class on budgeting calories which was good. THEN, we had 3 straight hours of exercise which was a killer. The first class was circuit training. it's pretty much like Curves, on steriods!!!! hahaha So Grovesie, wait till I get back! That was for 45 min then we had 15 min break and went into a kickboxing class. I'm excited!! we kicked, hit, and beat the hell outta this thing!!! So I'll be ready when I get back if any bitches decide to mess with me! hahaha hint hint :) After the two classes, we do this thing called a Gentle Stretch. It's 45 min long and you just stretch out... You literally stretch every muscle in your body.. I'm talking, muscles you never knew you had!!!!! And, it's pretty painful sometimes. So after that, we're FINALLY DONE with exercising!!!! YAAAAY! Dinner is at 5:30 and we had CHICKEN!!!! i was soooo excited. we also had polenta.. which i had no clue what it was but I found it it's like grits... and didn't like it but i managed to eat it all! I was really afraid of being really hungry.. but suprisingly I haven't been hungry yet! which is a good thing!!! I mentioned earlier I met these two ladies from NC, Teresa and Katrina.. Well, they are also huge Bachelor fans! So we planned to watch it together, but I was literally soooo tired I couldn't even watch it with them! I got back from dinner and our after dinner lecture at 7:00, took my shower, and was in bed by 7:30. I BARELY made it through the entire show!! So all in all, this place is an absolute killer but I survived my first day and actually kept up with most people! I was really really proud of myself! I'm still very homesick but I think I can make it!
