Day 6

This one is going to be a lil short. I'm getting tired and I'm sad. Today, we had breakfast at 7:00 like usual. It was just cereal and almond milk, which made me very very happy!!! I freaking loooove that cereal and milk.

Katrina, Captain and the other Teresa (from Seattle that we call Miss Lady) decided to rent a car and go to Zion National Park. Well, we got there and it's sooooo beautiful. We hiked this awesome trail and it was sooo FUN! We, of course, had a BLAST just driving there. These 3 ladies crack me up!!!!! We looked around at the visitors center and I found the cutest gift for Brayden. I looked for Makenzie something but they didn't have anything for her age. So I'm still on the search for her perfect gift! We hiked up the trail and at the top we had a picnic!! FR packed us a sack lunch. In the lunch was 3 pita pieces of bread with a cup ful of hummus. Well, I never in my life had heard of hummus. But, I saw it being made the other day. It had black beans mashed, with corn, chilies, and all kinds of stuff in it. Also, in the lunch was carrots, apples, and a granola bar. I decided not to eat the apple and half the hummus so I would have more calories at the buffet tonight. Anyway, the lunch was just beautiful. What a way to enjoy your lunch. I took lots of pics with a disposable camera so we'll see how they turn out!

After the hike, we drove back towards St George when we realized we are only 20 minutes from Colorado City, AZ. Does anyone know what that place means? Welllll, I'll tell ya. Its the city where they have all the the polygamists. The same town that Warren Jeff came from !!! So we wanted to go check them out. They all live in huge houses that have tall privacy fences where you can't see in the yard or house. It was crazy!!! OMG, while we're driving around the town, two HUGE ASS bulls with huge horns run out in the road!!! And 3 little mormon boys are chasing them hitting them with golf clubs! I literally had to stop in the middle of the road and hope they didn't run into the car! it was sooo crazy! we were shrieking from laughter and shock and confusion! it was crazy! We decided to head back. They told us dinner was at 5:30 so we planned to be back to FR at 4:30. Trevor calls us at 3:45 while we're on our way back and says, "oh, i think there's been a confusion. we're leaving at 4:45"! I was so pissed! We didn't get back to FR until 4:45 so we just drove ourselves to the Chuck-A-Rama buffet!

Anyway, we originally are allowed 500 calories for dinner. Since I didn't eat my apple and hummus, I got to eat 600! The apple and hummus was probably equal to more like 150 but I decided to be conservative. Well, I was really nervous about making my calories work. I was planning on eating chicken, chicken, and more chicken. Well, they didn't have boneless, skinless chicken. But, they had this awesome looking turkey for only 105 calories! So I ate a TON of turkey!!! Along with that I had a salad with lots of lettuce, broccoli, cheese and reduced fat ranch. That was my first plate and it only ended up being like 200 calories! So I went back and got more turkey and some fruit and mac n cheese. Well, I only got a very small portion, probably like a tablespoon, maybe 2, and it was 100 calories!! so i decided it wasn't worth it and didn't eat it. That took my total to 400 and I had 200 left. So I got more turkey, more fruit, and ended up at 550! I was sooo excited!!!!! I ate really slow since I got so many different plates and ended up being very full!! It was the first time I left the buffet being GOOD and not stuffed. It was such a great feeling. I sat at a booth with, of course, Katrina, Captain and Miss Lady. We had a blast. After dinner, we hit the outlet mall and I found a new favorite store! It's called DownEast. So I had to buy a shirt. And, let me tell you, it is adorable!!! I can't wait to wear it next Saturday night!

After we got back to FR, it was time to say goodbye to Katrina and Captain. They were leaving at 7:00 am to get the rental car to Vegas. We said our goodbyes and took some pics. I teared up and cried a lil when they left but on the way back to my room, I cried like a lil baby. I am meeting the most amazing people!! It is soooo hard to say goodbye. Oh god, I've been upset all night since then. I got back to the room at about 9:30 pm and popped in a movie. I've been watching a movie and writing this. But, it's about time to say goodbye. I'm in a terrible mood, depressed and ready for bed. I hope I meet some more people tomorrow. I did talk with this girl (can't remember her name) but she's a stayover. She'll be here another 3 weeks. She was realy nice and invited me to Target tomorrow. I need Q-tips so I will probably go. This has definitely been a strange weekend for me.....
