The weekends around here are always fun - in a different sort of way! :) Saturday we went to Coyote Gulch which is an artsy area. It was pretty neat considering I hate art stuff. I ended up buying a couple things which is always fun! I also consumed 2 mimosas which made me very very happy!!! :) Saturday night is graduation. I love graduation because it's always full of fun energy. Saturday night was karaoke but it did not go tooo long. It ended at about 8:15 which left time for us to go out!!! We went to Wing Nuts. A lot of people ate but I decided just to drink! :)
Sunday has been fun as well. We all met for breakfast at 8:30ish. It was a banana muffin. I love their muffins. We went to the movies and saw Hall Pass. I thought it was hilarious!!! I laughed a ton. Now, Im just sitting in my room watching a movie. There is about an hour before dinner. I always look forward to dinner because we get to meet all the newbies and see their petrified looks! Its funny stuff! I posted some pictures on facebook but I havent had a chance to put them on here because this computer does not have a cd drive. AND, I dont want to put them on my blog from the spa computer because I dont want people to see this blog....

Week 2 Day 5 Friday
It's FRIDAY!!!!!!! Fridays around here are so fun! Everyone is in such a great mood and so chipper! Plus, Fridays at FR mean POOL VOLLEYBALL!!!!!!!!! We hiked today to Scouts Cave and Johnsons Arch. It was a good hike. Pretty easy if I do say so. I ended up hanging back with this older guy Jerry. Our hiking guide kind of sucked and left us and Jerry isnt the best hiker so we took off together. Jerry is crazy!! He is sooo funny! I had a blast. After we climbed up Scouts Cave and turned back around, Jerry and I ended up hiking with Seth and Gretchen, the guide. Well, I have never laughed so hard in my life! I literally had to stop and hold my stomach I was laughing so hard!!! We had a freaking blast. Seth and Jerry together are nuts! After the hike, I skipped my 11:15 class to talk to mom, matt and the bank. Lunch pretty much sucked. It was this strange turkey pita combo that suckedddddddd. After lunch, we had a class for stayovers. We had to say one accomplishment for the week. I, of course, talked about my stop sign time! After that was circuit, then I did 2 pools!! For dinner I had a boca burger which I always LOVE! I organized another "party in the aerobics room" for tonight. Ping pong, games, and the wii! I labeled this one, BYOP. Bring Your Own Propel! hahaha I think people around here think Im crazy! but oh well. They need a little excitement around here! It was a hit. Quite a few people showed up! It was fun! Now, Im back in my room watching Wedding Crashers and about to go to bed! I cant wait to post some pictures!!!
Week 2 Day 4 Thursday
Hello friends! I have been so busy I have been forgetting to write about my days. today we hiked stop sign. I was D-R-E-A-D-I-N-G this hike!!!!!!!!!! I was NOT in the mood to hike. My goal was to TRY to keep up with Karen and Bernadine. I hike with both of them and they are always a little bit ahead of me! Well, I stayed with Karen up to mini stop sign which was awesome and I passed Bernadine!!! I also............. are you ready for this??????????
shaved 10 min off my stop sign time!!!!
can you believe it? Ten whole minutes!!! I was estatic!!! and when I got to the top, I ran the rest of it and everyone was screaming and cheering me on! It was soooooo great!!! And, Mark, Bernadine and Aunt Susan were right behind me so we all cheered them on to the finish line! It was so great! We alll got our picture taken together with that damn stop sign! I guess I'll go ahead and post my stop sign times. Im a little bit embarrassed about them because they were so bad but oh well. I need to look back at my last blog to see the last time I did. Anyway, the first time was 1:25 and the second one was 1:26. This time was 1:16!!!!!!!!! The best part was when I got to mini stop sign (the easier part) I was only up 1 minute from the last time. Which means I made up 9 minutes on the steep incline part which is the hardest part!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only had to stop like 1 or 2x. I was like a machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was sooo tired after that, that I just didnt have it in me the rest of the day! Karen and I went to play tennis for open gym. We skipped our 2:30 class and played for 1.75 hours. We were both wiped from stop sign though. After tennis, I did pool and skipped the last class. I was beat. I wanted to take a shower, straighten my hair, and relax! I also did laundry. That night we all sat in the living room on the couches and hung out for awhile. As always, that was a blast! Seth talked me into going to Krave with him for frozen yogurt! They have yogurt there that is only 8 calories an ounce. I did skip my soup and dessert so I had about 200 calories to spare so I had to partake in the frozen yogurt run!

Week 2 Day 2 Tuesday
I forgot to write last night so Im writing it now. I cant really remember anything major. We hiked chuckwalla which was the hike I took Mom and Dad on. But, this hike was done in high speed! We went super fast and ended up doing a ton more. Im pretty sure we did Paradise Rim! I just cant remember much. I did go up to Lisa and Darlene's room to watch The Biggest Loser.
Week 2 Day 3 Wednesday
Well, I have had the best day yet today!!!!!!!! The day started out early and tired! I did not want to get out of bed today! I got to breakfast late. I didnt go until about 7:30 so I had to scarf down my food. We had a slice of french toast, a scoop of scrambled eggs and a turkey sausage. The turkey sausage was awesome!! The french toast and eggs weren't bad either! Our hike today was camelback and it is one of my favorites!!! I was really afraid it would be super hard but I did suprisingly well!!!! It was a blast and we took some awesome, AWESOME pictures! I can't wait to get them off my memory card and on facebook!!! I was at the very top of this super high mountain doing the "heinsman pose"!!!! Gosh, we all had fun! Our hiking group this week is a fun, fun group!!!
After the hike, we all did stretch. And during stretch, your supposed to be quiet and serene. Well, our group was NOT quiet! We got yelled at a couple different times. At one point, we did this stupid ab stretch and I say to Merinda, "damn, my abs are killing me. I didnt know even know I had abs until I felt this pain." and Merinda responds with, "my abs hurt so bad I should have a six pack under this fat!" hahahhahaha gosh that makes me laugh just typing it! Of course, Lisa and I bust out laughing so loud we couldnt control it!!! hahahah and then Darlene decided to do stretch last minute with us in her swimsuit. hahaha We just laughed the whole time. It was nuts. At lunch, I had a yummy boca burger and we sat outside. It was so nice out today.
After lunch was open gym and it is Wednesday!! That means tennis with Robin which is my favorite part of the entire week!!! :) :) :) I recruited 6 other people to come with us and as usual, had a blast!!! We ended up skipping the first 2 afternoon classes and stayed at the park and played. It was soo fun! I played for 2.5 hours and burned 1250 calories!!! Which I think is pretty freaking awesome! That is about the same as a hike which is great! I did get pretty sunburnt but who cares, it was worth it!
We left the tennis courts at about 3:45 and headed back to the ridge for the last class. I did pool class and once again, had a blast! JT, Merinda, Darlene and I were all in there. It was nuts. We were dunking each other like crazy! Sooooo fun. Dinner was cafe salad which is always yummy! We talked to Chef Cam and he's making me green beans Thursday night which im excited about!!! After dinner, we all went to Golden Spoon and laughed like crazy. I just literally had the best day ever!!!! Now, this is what FR is all about!!!!!!!!!!! :) Im so happy im done and over with my "funk" and bad moods! Now, Im seeing a commercial for MGD 64 and that would really top off this awesome day! :)

Week 2 Day 1 Monday
Today went fantastic!!! The hike was great! We did wall street which I had never done before. I was able to keep with the same people that I couldnt keep up with last week! That was a great feeling! I was just all around in a much better mood. During the hike, we did lots of climbing which is always fun. We also had tons of sand which sucksssssss. That sand is so terrible! Breakfast was a bacon and egg sandwich but I had toast with almond butter. I was in a great mood all morning. After the hike, I did pool class. That wasnt much fun. It was full of old women and they were kind of boring. Lunch was turkey and rice bowl which was good. It was pretty spicy for me!!!
After lunch, I did two circuits and a pool class. The two circuits went fantastic! I ran at a 6.0 mph and I have never done that before!!! It wasn't for very long but I still did it! That was awesome!!! The pool class was nuts! We alllllllll did the 4:30 pool class and we were crazy. We were yelling and dunkin each other and laughin and etc.... It was sooo fun! I can just tell this is going to be two awesome weeks!!! I am soooooo excited and happy!!! Dinner was chili and cornbread and it was alright.

Week 2 Day 0 Sunday
Hey Everyone. Im going to summarize the past 3 days. Friday was a fun day! I hiked stop sign which is always hard, but it went good. We were all ready to head to vegas!!! We had lunch and then did one pool class which was water volleyball! That is always a blast!!!!!!!!! After the 2:30 pool class, we showered, packed, and headed to VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!
Vegas was amazing as always!!! It was great times with amazing and great friends!!!
Sunday, we headed back up to Utah. This is going to be two fun weeks!! There is about ten of us and I'm really excited!
Im praying this next week goes a lot better exercise wise!

Week 1 Day 4 Thursday
well, i'll make this short and sweet. Today sucked up until 2:30 so I am just going to skip to that part. Treading was today and went fantastic! I could not have asked for a better workout and class. After that, I did pool which also went great. We did tons of cardio. After that, I hit the hot tub then took a shower. Brandi was coming at 5:00 so I wanted to have my shower. Brandi got here and it was great to catch up with her. Dinner was just alright. After that, we played taboo and buzz word. It was really fun. I love games night at the Ridge. Oh yeah, Katie came to see me tonight! That was awesome. I love her!! Now, Im in bed ready to go to sleep. I am sooooo ready for Vegas and to see everyone!!! Im dreading tomorrow. The hike is saddle. I could barely do saddle into my 4th week 2 years ago. There is no way possible I can do this stupid hike. I might just do stop sign. Who knows!

Week 1 Day 3 Wednesday
Wednesday's are known for being rough... and mine was rough!!! :( Im tired, sore, walking like a hobbit, and was a little down in the dumps. Breakfast was a "panini" but this is not the panini you are imagining. (I dont think that is spelled right. Im trying to say imagine-ing) Anyways, it was a sandwich thin with almond butter on one side, jelly on the other side and bananas and strawberries in the middle. Freaking A-MAZ-ING!!!! I LOVED it!!! I will definitely make that at home!!!! The hike was Lower Gila. It was hard!!! I was dying!! My feet HATED me... My blisters hurt soooooo bad. By the end of hike, I was spent. I was tired and could barely walk because of my feet! :( I got home and my blisters have doubled in size and added a new one that is bigger than the other 2. It wasn't pure hell, but it definitely sucked. I did burn about 1450 calories which is pretty awesome. I had a new hike guide trail behind with me and he was a little different. But a nice guy I guess. After the hike, JT and Paige were outside sitting on the ledge thing so I sat out there with them for awhile. That was pretty fun. We would greet all the guests and talk to the guides as they got out of the vans.
After that was an option of circuit, stretch, or pool. My poor feet hurt so bad there was no way I was doing circuit. I opted for stretch. Lunch was greek pizza so I had a boca burger which is always good! I LOOOVE those things! After lunch was open gym time which means TENNIS!!! I was sooo excited! I went with Robin the trainer and this other guy named Mark. Man, Mark can play! He was hitting the ball so hard it was scaring me! haha but it was really really fun!!! After that was kickboxing!!! My most favorite class here!! I did back to back kickboxing which rocked! I was dying. Literally the sweat was dripping off me. That is such a nice feeling! I almost skipped the last class. It was soo cold today and the water was cold in the pool. BUT, I went to my room, ate my hard boiled egg, and headed back to the pool. It was a good class and I really enjoyed it!
After that, I showered and headed to dinner. It was a salmon patty so I opted for the boca burger again. Once again, awesome! Pam, an older lady that was here when I was here for 6 weeks, showed up randomly so we talked to her for a while. She was soo sweet! After dinner, I headed to the gift shop to buy some new shoes. I just cant take it anymore. I am in so much pain and I know with the Brooks, I wont have any blisters. So, we will see how it goes tomorrow. Overall, I had a good day.
Here are just some other stuff thats going on:
- My face is sunburnt! Im red as can be! Tomorrow Im going to start wearing sunscreen.
- Max Morelli, whose brother and dad were on the biggest loser, is here. I met him last July. Im pretty sure I told everyone about it. Anyway, he has his dad Ron with him. Ron was the brown team. Thats pretty cool but he's not very talkative!
- My blisters are so bad I think Im going to pop them. They tell you not to but Im not sure what to do.
- I'm having a tiny issue with the "poor-me's". I'm not having a great time. Im having a good time, dont get me wrong. But, mentally, I just wasnt prepared. I dont know.... Im not homesick or anything. If I was here alone, I would probably be crying! But, I think Im mentally ready but my body just hurts soooo bad. I could literally cry! :( So, tonight, Im snuggled up with my blankie and moping! :( Im already wanting to skip classes. That is a terrible terrible thought. And Im sure you people back home are thinking "why would you skip, you paid all this money so you should do everything" but you just dont have a clue.... Anyway, say a prayer for me because I need it! Hopefully tomorrow I wont be as sore and my feet will start to feel better!

Week 1 Day 2 Tuesday
I woke up today feeling soooo tired! Breakfast was a pineapple muffin that was sooooo good! I LOVED IT!!! Today we were assigned the hike, STOP SIGN!! UGH! The funniest part about doing stop sign today is I was just telling Jim sunday on the drive down that I still wanted to do stop sign at the beginning and end of my hike to "check" myself. Well, after Monday, I decided I was NOT going to do that! I was tired enough without adding stop sign to my list of activities! So, what happens Tuesday morning??? They assign my little hiking group stop sign! UGH, I think it was a sign from God to get my ass up to that stop sign! Anyways, I was still feeling pretty cocky from yesterdays hike and doing so well. So I headed up stop sign and was making pretty good time until the last mile to mini stop sign. I was just dying. It was pure hell! I was soo tired! So I finally made it to mini stop sign, which is the end of the path. After that, you start on the road headed to the big stop sign. And, it is a stretch of nothing but uphill HELL! At mini stop sign, I had to stop, catch my breathe, and strip down. I was sweating like crazy! So, I headed up stop sign and Tom one of the hiking guides walked up with me! He was telling me lots of stories which was great. It kept my mind off that terrible hill! I finally got up to stop sign which was a relief!!! I was soooooo happy to see that stop sign! ugh! My time was not so hot. In fact, Im not even going to post it! :( But, it encouraged me to work a little bit harder!
We got back from stop sign and I had the option between stretch, pool, or a weight workshop (which is not an exercise class). I decided to not be lazy and take the pool class. It went great!!! I was sooooo happy I did it. Robin taught it and it was a ton of cardio like swimming laps and stuff. That made me very happy! I had a great workout. After pool, once again, I hung out in the hot tub and was a little late for lunch but thats okay! You guys have no clue how every bone, muscle, fiber, tendon, ligament, inch of skin can hurt!!! That hot tub makes you feel really good!!! I was dying! My feel are KILLING me! My new shoes SUCK! I have blisters! I cant even walk without limping because of my damn blisters! So, lunch was quinoa lettuce wraps and they were not good! I choked them down... OH I FORGOT TO TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I literally about LOST it when they told me that!!! We get two snacks a day. I have fruit in the mornings after my hikes and then a hard boiled egg after lunch. I think you're supposed to eat it in the afternoon, but that little egg just calls my name right after lunch so I have to eat it!! :) They even cut up the apples for us now which is amazing!!! And, I think they even give you a little more! Because there is a TON of apples in that bag! Its awesome!! Ok, back to my afternoon! Todays classes were Total Toning, Cardio Intervals, and Pool. Well, I skipped Total Toning and did back to back Cardio Intervals. I figured my trainer back home gave me enough "toning". haha Cardio Intervals was grrrrrreeeeeeeaaaaaaaattttttttt!!!!!!!!! Both classes I literally had sweat dripping off of me! It felt sooo good! I havent had sweat drip off me in a while! That makes me happy! :) The first class I did on the elliptical and the second class I used the treadmill. By the end of the treadmill, my feet were KILLING me. My poor feet hate me and my new shoes! It is sooo painful! So, right after that I jumped in the pool and q1uite honestly, I half-assed it. I was so tired from the two back to back cardio classes and my feet hurt! I jumped out of the pool a little early and hit the hot tub.
We ate lunch and dinner outside today which was nice! Dinner was white bean chili and the guy serving it asked if I wanted that or a boca burger. You should be proud of me, I went with the chili because it was different! Im trying to get out of my box! :) It was pretty good too! But, for some reason, Im starving right now!!! My body is starting to hurt tonight too. Im realllly worried about tomorrow! :( Tonight, The Biggest Loser was on and for some stupid reason, NBC messed up and no one can watch it! That makes me maaaaaddd!!! So, mom, if your reading this you can go to my tv and delete NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles because thats what I watched tonight! Also, you can delete The Bachelor too! Well, its 8:00 here and Im exhausted. I just took some ibprofen so hopefully some pain will go away and I can get some sleep! Wish me luck tomorrow, I think its going to be rough!!!

I think you're supposed to eat it in the afternoon, but that little egg just calls my name right after lunch so I have to eat it!! :) They even cut up the apples for us now which is amazing!!! And, I think they even give you a little more! Because there is a TON of apples in that bag! Its awesome!! Ok, back to my afternoon! Todays classes were Total Toning, Cardio Intervals, and Pool. Well, I skipped Total Toning and did back to back Cardio Intervals. I figured my trainer back home gave me enough "toning". haha Cardio Intervals was grrrrrreeeeeeeaaaaaaaattttttttt!!!!!!!!! Both classes I literally had sweat dripping off of me! It felt sooo good! I havent had sweat drip off me in a while! That makes me happy! :) The first class I did on the elliptical and the second class I used the treadmill. By the end of the treadmill, my feet were KILLING me. My poor feet hate me and my new shoes! It is sooo painful! So, right after that I jumped in the pool and q1uite honestly, I half-assed it. I was so tired from the two back to back cardio classes and my feet hurt! I jumped out of the pool a little early and hit the hot tub.
We ate lunch and dinner outside today which was nice! Dinner was white bean chili and the guy serving it asked if I wanted that or a boca burger. You should be proud of me, I went with the chili because it was different! Im trying to get out of my box! :) It was pretty good too! But, for some reason, Im starving right now!!! My body is starting to hurt tonight too. Im realllly worried about tomorrow! :( Tonight, The Biggest Loser was on and for some stupid reason, NBC messed up and no one can watch it! That makes me maaaaaddd!!! So, mom, if your reading this you can go to my tv and delete NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles because thats what I watched tonight! Also, you can delete The Bachelor too! Well, its 8:00 here and Im exhausted. I just took some ibprofen so hopefully some pain will go away and I can get some sleep! Wish me luck tomorrow, I think its going to be rough!!!
Week 1 Day 1 Monday
Well, my friends, Monday wasnt toooo terrible!!! We had an egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich for breakfast which was yummy! I love my MEAT!!! They switched up the hikes and you dont do stop sign on Mondays and Saturdays anymore. We did a new hike which I really like! It was fun and I honestly was afraid I would die. BUT, I didnt! I survived! And, it wasn't nearly bad as I thought! After the hike, we had stretch then lunch. Lunch was a turkey sandwich which was awesome! it definitely could have used some cheese but oh well! After lunch, I did two back to back circuit training classes and then the pool. I opted out of core training! We sat in the hottub for a while and we didnt go to dinner until about 6:00. Dinner was chicken and polenta which was awesome!!!!!!!! I LOOOVE when they serve us chicken! Dessert was chocolate covered strawberries which were amazing like always! Sorry this was kind of boring! Im not feeling very funny tonight! :)

Week 1 Day 0
Well, I made it to Vegas safe and sound! I had a blast gambling and hanging out in Vegas before I headed north. I didnt necessarily do so hot but I sure had a great time doing it! :) We arrived in Fitness Ridge about 5:30 right in time for dinner! We were greated by sharon which is always nice!!! :) We got all tested in and headed to dinner. It was a burrito/tamale thing which was really good!! I met some nice people and unpacked. It was really great to see everyone again!! Im settled into my room/bed right now about to fall asleep! I am sooo tired! I was so tired today I slept the entire flight! I NEVER do that! I also only had about 3 hours or sleep so that might be why! :)
I am a complete mix of emotions right now! Im scared shitless. I know my fitness level is not up to par so I know Im going to be dying.... A tiny TINY part of me is regret. What the hell was I thinking??? I could be sitting at home getting ready to work tomorrow with no worries! And nervousness! You never know what will happen..... AHH! I just cant wait for tomorrow to get over with! The first day is always the worst! :( Wish me luck, Im really needing it right now! :)

Packing
Ugh, im packing and thinking "what the hell was I thinking!!!!" Going away for four weeks to get my ass royally kicked for 28 days?! ahhhh I must be retarded! I have all my clothes packed but not my toiletries... Im so stressed out I had to drink a beer! ugh! And, I just realized I forgot to print out my boarding pass! UGH!!!!! Now, i have to go back to the shop and its 11:30 and freezing cold out! IM STRESSED OUT!!!!!!!!!!
