Well, it's Friday. I have one last day of exercise then I get some time off!!! Well, I was so excited about the time off!!! So Friday, I got up at about 6:30, got ready and headed to breakfast. We had french toast with no syrup, just a very very small amount of raspberry topping. Well, I have been dying to try this cereal they serve to the people who don't like the food. They serve it with almond milk instead of regular milk. So the french toast was really dry so I thought it would be the perfect day to try cereal. Well, the cereal was SOOO GOOD!!! They take about 5 boxes of Kashi brand cereal and mix it all together and then serve it with this almond milk. I recommend it to ANYONE. Even the milk. It is awesome and only like 40 calories. It's really sweet tasting.
Once again, at 8 am, we did another hike. It was a lil bittersweet because it was my last hike between me, Captain and Katrina. So, we're all pretty excited and it was terrible!! Like 5 different people decided to join the hike that were all in the fast intermediate group. Well, they decided they wanted to go on an easier hike. So they join us and they all take off walking their normal speed and we couldn't keep up! it was terrible. PLUS, we don't like 2 of the girls that went so it ruined the entire atmosphere. We tried to laugh some and ignore them but it was hard. But, Danae was our hiking guide and we had some really good talks so that's good. We also climbed up this HUGE rock!! I didn't think I could make it at all but I made it to the very top! OMG, I was soooo proud of myself!
So, after the hike, I decided to try yoga instead of aquacise. It was alright. It wasn't much of yoga, mostly just stretching. But, it was easy. Lunch wasn't too great either. It was called "chili potato". They took a big baked potato and split it open. They topped it with chili beans, soy cheese, and some other stuff. I can't remember everything that was on it. It was just alright... Nothing special. OH, the soup was carrot coconut something. It wasn't the greatest but I ate it anyway. I was dreading Friday afternoon because I was exhausted from the week. I forgot to mention in the earlier blogs but my muscles feel SO MUCH BETTER!!! I'm not sore at all anymore!!! This is how I'd rate the pain on a scale of 1-10:
Monday - 0
Tuesday - 9
Wednesday - 17
Thursday - 2
Friday - 0
So back to dreading Friday.. it wasn't from being sore, just exhausted from working out. I was just plain sick and tired of it. I desperately needed a break. Friday my first class was circuit training which I described before as Curves on steriods. The second class was Hip Hop which sucked ass! We all know how incredibly UNCORDINATED i am!!! so i left in the middle and went to open gym. The good thing about the friday afternoon classes is everyone is all together!! So I got to exercise with Captain and Katrina!!! They started stretch early so we were done by 4:10!! Which meant I got to shower before I ate. SO, I actually fixed my hair and put on jeans. It was great! Everyone about died when they saw how long and curly my hair was! They always see it bundled up and gross looking from sweat! hahaha so it was really really nice to get all the compliments. It made me feel really good. Katrina and Captain kept going on and on about me =) it was great!
Dinner was AWESOME!!!!! It was a boca burger on a BUN!!!!!!!!! OHMIGOD we actually got bread! it was soooo good! i actually really like boca burgers! It came with corn on the cob!!! and it was so good, it didn't even need butter! so i was soooooooooo happy! everyone was in a great mood because it was friday and the food was awesome! so, after dinner, i went over to the house where katrina and captain stay to do laundry because it's free!!! well, at their house, they have an actual living room with a couch so it was fun to be in a normal house and hanging out like normal people!! I did all my laundry and got back to my room at about 10. Overall, it was a pretty great day!!! I am going to miss them SOO much when they leave!
PS- I forgot to talk about my calories. I got the new watch as I mentioned so I decided to sleep with it on just to see how many i burned when I sleep. hahaha I burnt 1050 calories just while sleeping!!! My normal heartrate is 88 but in my sleep it got up to 130! Strange, right? Then I remembered I had this crazzzzy dream!! So I think I burned more calories during the dream!!! Also, I reset it as soon as I woke up and my total calories burned for the entire day was 3600!!!! Isn't that crazy??? That's a pound!!!
