Week 3 Day 4 Thursday

Well, today started off fantastic! They had my favorite breakfast ever!!! It was PB&J with strawberries and bananas on it! It was sooooooo GOOD!!!!!!! We did stop sign today and Deb had a little surprise for us! Normally, they have a van go to the top of the stop sign and wait on us to finish. Once we finish, we just walk out to overlook to kill time until its time to leave. OR, they drive people to back down the steep part and they can redo the steep part or go back down the path. Well, the surprise was, they were not moving the van from the bottom of stop sign. We had to go all the way up and all the way back down. I pretty much thought they were crazy and smoking crack! I never thought I could do it. The first part went really well. I was 2 minutes ahead on my speed at mini stop sign. Once we started up the steep part, I was BEAT!! I did not want to power ahead but that damn Seth was yelling at me to hurry. He literally kept me going! I told him the time I wanted to get there, and he pushed me until I made that time!!! It was sooooo hard!!! I was right behind Mark and Karen and they waited until I got close and we all crossed together! It was sooo sweet! ANDDDD, I beat my time by another 4 minutes!!!!!! I was sooooo excited!!!! I couldn't have done it without Seth pushing me up that hill!!! Once we finished, we all powered back down that hill. We got all the way back to the parking lot for a total of 8.6 miles! Yes, my friends, I hiked 8.6 miles!!!!!! I cant believe I did it!!! So, I was extremely happy until I got home and took off my shoes! I have blisters out of this world!!!! I have a huge blood blister on the bottom of my foot! I actually have several. Im not quite sure why but they are killer.... I cried they hurt so bad! :( I went to see Sharon to ask what I needed to do about them and she put me on bed rest for the rest of the afternoon! :( Im so pissed and mad!! So, Im spending my afternoon icing and elevating. :( Wish me luck!
